The photo was taken by my father on what I think was a special train, possibly not long before the line was closed.A DMU train from Swansea to Oxford stopped at Bridgend Station.A very young me at Barry Junction in the early 1960s. That duffel bag at the side of me later carried my school PE kit!Sadly I do not know where this photo was taken by my father. I would assume it was somewhere in South Wales.I took this photo of the now demolished bridge over the River Towy in Carmarthen in the early 1970s. The line originally carried onto Aberystwyth, but it was closed in the 1960s.
